Heatherkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Scorchstar leaped onto Center Rock and waited for her clan to gather in front of her. After everyone was out of their dens and sitting before her, Scorchstar said, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath Center Rock for a clan meeting. Heatherkit this is a proud day for Windclan, becuase by naming apprentices we show Windclan will survive and remain strong. Heatherkit, from now until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Heatherpaw. I will take on Heatherpaw as my own apprentice, and I will pass on all I know to her."
Then Scorchstar jumped off Center Rock and touched noses with Heatherpaw.
"Heatherpaw! Heatherpaw! Heatherpaw!" the clan chanted.

[Cherryleaf !!]

Heatherkit felt extremely nervous as Scorchstar meowed the words that would make her a true WindClan apprentice.
"Heatherpaw." She whispered to herself, trying out her new name.
I like the name... She decided happily.

Heatherpaw looked up to see Scorchstar bounding off the large rock and towards her. She touched her nose with her leader's delicately.

When the chanting died down Scorchstar whispered into Heatherpaw's ear, "We will start training tomorrow and you will go on the dawn patrol with me. So, make sure you're ready at dawn."

Heatherpaw nodded at her clan leader, and mentor.
She turned to face Flyinghawk nervously.
"Thank you." She said shyly.
