Lostpaw stared at the sky her lost look on her face. A holly leaf lay at her paws which was unusually because there wasn't much holly around here. Her face said lost but her eyes said sadness. She wanted her ancestors to talk to her like her mentor but they wouldn't and it stung her every time she thought about it.

Skyleaf padded up to her apprentice. "What's wrong Lostpaw?" She asked curiously.

Lostpaw jumped and fell. She turned to face her mentor, dust falling on her holly leaf. She looked to her paws, I was just watching the skies hoping our ancestors would talk to me for the first time She admitted

Skyleaf smiled warmly at her apprentice. "In good time, Lostpaw. They haven't talked to me recently either. They must still be shaken from our reappearance in the forest." She meowed gently.
Skyleaf turned her head to the sky and sighed. "I haven't received any sign from StarClan that we belong here yet." She admitted miserably. "There's still a chance we could be rejected and thrown out- by our own ancestors."

We might be better off then She muttered sourly wiping the dust off the holly leaf.

Timestar had wandered away from the Skyclan camp, just to get some fresh air and to go on a good hunt. On the way to his favorite hunting spot, Timestar ran into the clan Medicine and their apprentice.
Hello, Skyleaf -- Lostpaw, how are you?
He stood there for a moment waiting for a response for maybe 5 seconds, then moved on as if he didn't care wheter or not they responded.
